The short version
- If you join the waitlist, we keep your email and the answers you choose to give, and use them only to tell you about Kickline.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for anything else.
- Analytics and marketing cookies are off unless you allow them. You can change your mind at any time.
- Email hello@kickline.ai to see, correct or delete your data.
1. Who we are
This policy covers kickline.ai, run by Kickline (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described here and are based in Portugal.

2. What we collect and why
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address (required).
- Your answers, if you pick any: which messaging apps you'd like to use and which tasks you'd want Kickline to handle.
- Technical context: which form you used, the page that referred you, and your approximate country (worked out from your IP address when you submit — we don't store the IP address itself).
We use this to let you know when you can get early access, send occasional updates about the launch, and understand which features and channels to build first. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
When you email us
If you write to hello@kickline.ai we receive your email address, name, message and any attachments, and use them to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us (Art. 6(1)(f)).
When you visit the site
- Privacy-friendly visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics). Counts page views, referring sites, country and device type in aggregate. It doesn't use cookies or track you across sites. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Server logs. Our hosting provider briefly processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics and marketing cookies — only if you allow them. See Cookies below. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
We don't make automated decisions about you, and we don't sell or rent your personal data.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit, a banner asks what you're comfortable with. Nothing optional is enabled until you choose, and you can change your choice any time from Cookie settings (also linked in the site footer).

Google Tag Manager itself loads on every visit so that it can apply your choice; it doesn't set cookies on its own. We use Google's Consent Mode, so Google tags don't store cookies for analytics or advertising unless you've allowed that category.
4. Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it:

We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Waitlist data: until Kickline launches publicly plus 12 months, or sooner if you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe.
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to handle your message, and no longer than 24 months.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, typically days.
- Your cookie choice: stays in your browser until you clear it or change it.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have it corrected if it's wrong, or deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email hello@kickline.ai. We'll reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) — www.cnpd.pt — or to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
8. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, access to the waitlist is limited to the people who run Kickline, and our providers use industry-standard security. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
9. Children
Kickline is a tool for businesses and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data; if you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant and you're on the waitlist, we'll email you.
